Nautical Chart Guest Books

I found a great Etsy shop today that makes beautiful bound books
with authentic nautical charts.

Ruth Bleakley

Of course the first one that caught my eye was
the Tybee Island version above.
Wouldn't this be just perfect for a guest sign in at your
beach or coastal wedding?

Pair it with the corresponding Savannah Jack's Nautical Chart items
and you'll have a beautiful, classic, nautical chic theme.

Here are a few other examples of Ruth's beautiful books...
Beaufort, South Carolina
Hilton Head, South Carolina

My favorite part about these are that they are made out of actual charts used by local fishermen. They even have their penciled in notes showing on the chart! So charming!

Don't miss Ruth's nautical stationary as well in her other Etsy shop.

Operation Porch Take Back

Spring is coming and I am itching to redo our screened in porch!

We have what started out as a great back porch...

but then as the babies kept coming, the dog got pushed to the back porch.

What we have now is a lovely black lab cabana.

My goal for this Spring is to have a more functional, family friendly, happy hour ready porch. Dogs may visit but may no longer take over. I'd like to make it more weather resistant, less black hair covered, brighter, beachier, more comfortable, and an expansion of the living space as it was originally intended. Lord knows these days we'll take the space anywhere we can get it with 3 growing boys! Of course I've started this project as I do all with a Pinterest board. Here are some of my favorites so far...

Don't know if I'll be able to pull off anything close but here's hoping!
Hopefully I'll be able to post pictures of the progress and some before and afters soon!
You're just not living life on the coast to its fullest if you don't have a screened in porch you love living on!

Classic Charleston Charm

I have always loved the city of Charleston.

It is very similar to Savannah and has the same historical charm

and amazing Southern characters.

I have been itching to add some Charleston nautical charts to the line

and have finally gotten started.

I am so proud to introduce the new Charleston platter!

Just like the Savannah version,
this is perfect for laid back Southern entertaining.
Whether you're in Charleston or just wish you were
this will make you feel right at home.
Great for wedding gifts, hostess gifts, housewarmings, etc.
Come check them out now in the shop online!
Hopefully coming to local shops in the Charleston area soon as well!

Nautical Chart Wall

A beautiful example of nautical charts covering a wall!

Great coastal room. Bright, airy!
And the barn doors! My, oh my!
I love almost every example I have seen of this done.

Savannah Magazine Feature

I think the new months issues are already headed out to the stands but I wanted to make sure and thank Savannah Magazine for featuring the Savannah Nautical Chart Platter in their top 20 local gifts article!

I am so grateful and can't express enough my appreciation of all the local support I have received!

Beautiful Nautical Knot Decor

How beautiful are these?
Karen from Karen's Rope Work creates the most beautiful nautical decor.
Above you can see the table number holders and she also has smaller name place card holders.
How amazing would these look with a setting of the nautical chart plates from Savannah Jack's?
Simple, classic, nautical chic for your next dinner party, family gathering, beach wedding, etc.
Please swing by Karen's Etsy shop to see all of her other beautiful items.
Here are just a few of my favorites as a teaser...
Lamps
Mats
Wine stoppers
Coasters and Chargers

I'm in love with everything in the shop and Karen is just as nice as she can be.
Just ask if you need a custom order!
I'm picking out my wish list now
and will hopefully be able to share some pics soon
of a table set with her designs and mine!

New Nautical Chart Line

I want to thank everyone so much for your amazing support of the launch of the
new nautical chart line!
I launched with the local Savannah area of course but hope to be adding many new areas this month including Charleston, New York, St. Simon's, Hilton Head, and more....

The current best sellers are the platter (above), all sizes and shapes of the cutting boards, door mats, hand towels, coasters, and koozies. Coming soon, I am hoping to add beautiful pillows, table linens, and men's ties just to name a few!

Thank you again to the roaring response so far and stay tuned for all that is to come! I can not express how blown away I am by your support!
